Friends’ School Auction | April 20, 2012

Will Day will be donating a children’s art class session, hosted at his local studio in North Boulder. Friends’ School’s Auction, a tradition for almost two decades, is a major fundraiser and the social event of the year. Proceeds from the event help to provide significant enhancements to school programs and serve as an important revenue stream in the operating budget. The Friends’ School Auction is also a community-building event. There are a number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, and parents have fun working together to achieve a common goal. Volunteering is an opportunity to meet parents from other classes that you might not know otherwise. The auction’s long-standing success is due to the volunteer efforts from year to year. The 2012 Auction is set for Saturday, April 21, 2011 at The Boulder Country Club. All parents are encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring friends. Invitations will be sent in March and tickets will go on sale at that point. A list of volunteer opportunities is available in the “Links” section of this page (see red box). Boulder Country Day School LOTA 2012 | March 19, 2012

Will Day participated in Boulder Country Day School’s Havana Nights LOTA event by donating a night of visual inspiration and tasteful creations, alongside head chef of Mateo Restaurant on Pearl Street. The winners will enjoy a hands-on-experience in the home and studio of Award Winning Artist, Will Day! By the mentoring and assistance of Will, they will be able to create their own take home masterpieces!
